Why We Blacklisted CazinoStars: Unlicensed Operator With Predatory Terms

At TopCasinoScout, we only want to send players to licensed, fair and transparent online casinos. After a full internal investigation, we have permanently removed CazinoStars from all rankings and partner lists and added the brand to our Blacklisted & Unsafe Casinos page.

During our review we uncovered that CazinoStars appears to be operating without a verifiable licence, uses predatory withdrawal terms, and presents a misleading Trustpilot profile with highly suspicious reviews – including players claiming that 60x wagering is “fair and normal” and an overall rating around 4.5/5 that does not match the underlying terms.

This article explains exactly what we found, why CazinoStars now has a TopCasinoScout Score (TCS) of 0 / 10,000, and how we protect our community when a “partner” fails our safety checks.

What Happened With CazinoStars?

CazinoStars initially appeared on TopCasinoScout as a trial affiliate partner, pending our standard compliance checks. As with every brand we list, they were required to pass our TopCasinoScout Score (TCS) vetting process, which covers licensing, withdrawals, bonus fairness, support quality and independent player feedback.

While collecting data for the review, we found multiple red flags:

  • No verifiable gambling licence displayed anywhere on the site.
  • Predatory withdrawal caps and fees buried in the Terms & Conditions.
  • Contradictory claims in customer support chats, including different payout speeds for different VIP levels.
  • A Trustpilot profile that looks artificially positive, with reviews praising harsh terms as “normal”.

At that point, CazinoStars was removed from all public rankings while we completed a full investigation. The result: permanent removal and blacklisting.

Unlicensed Operation Disguised as Curaçao “Law”

CazinoStars claims that its Terms and disputes are governed by the laws of Curaçao. However, a casino being “governed by Curaçao law” is not the same thing as holding a valid Curaçao gambling licence.

On the site:

  • There is no licence number (e.g. 8048/JAZ20xx-xxx) listed anywhere.
  • No master-licence holder (Antillephone, CEG, CIL, etc.) is named.
  • No regulatory seal or clickable validator link is provided.
  • No clear operating company name or registered address is presented alongside the “Curacao” wording.

Instead, the Terms include a detailed private arbitration clause via the Dean of the Curaçao Bar Association, which is a pattern we typically see in unlicensed offshore operations, not properly regulated casinos.

Under our TCS methodology, missing or fake licensing is an automatic 0 / 10,000 score and immediate blacklist trigger.

Predatory Withdrawal Limits and Bonus Conditions

Our review of the CazinoStars Terms & Conditions and support chat logs highlighted several player-hostile payout rules:

  • Very low withdrawal caps, including weekly limits around €500–€1,500 depending on VIP level.
  • A minimum withdrawal set at €100, making it hard for smaller players to cash out.
  • A steep €60 fee after multiple withdrawals in a single month.
  • KYC delays of several days before processing payouts.
  • Lifetime deposit rules and conversion limits that can severely restrict legitimate withdrawals.

The bonus system is equally problematic. Wagering requirements reach extreme levels (e.g. up to 60x and beyond), and there are multiple conversion traps, caps and VIP-based conditions that significantly reduce the chance of walking away with real money.

In our Payments & Withdrawals and Bonus Value categories, CazinoStars scored extremely low – effectively at or close to 0 in those sections.

Misleading Trustpilot Profile and Suspect Reviews

One of the most concerning discoveries was the way CazinoStars appears on Trustpilot. On the surface, the page shows a rating of around 4.5 / 5, which would imply a trusted, well-liked casino.

However, when we looked closer:

  • Multiple reviews read like marketing copy rather than genuine player feedback.
  • At least one reviewer explicitly claims that 60x wagering is “fair and normal” – a statement that does not align with industry standards or player sentiment.
  • The tone and timing of several reviews suggest they may be incentivised or fabricated.

Under our Trustpilot & Player Reviews category, we’re not just importing star ratings. We analyse comments for patterns of:

  • Non-payment or delayed withdrawals.
  • Stalled KYC and aggressive document requests.
  • Bonus traps and unfair interpretation of terms.
  • Suspiciously glowing feedback that ignores obvious issues in the Terms & Conditions.

When a casino has harsh terms on its own website but unusually glowing external reviews, we treat this as a serious integrity red flag.

For CazinoStars, the gap between the Trustpilot score and the actual conditions was so large that we chose to treat the profile as misleading and unreliable for rating purposes.

How CazinoStars Failed Our TopCasinoScout Score (TCS)

Our TCS framework assigns each casino up to 10,000 points, across six main categories: withdrawals, licensing, support, bonuses, games and player reviews.

In the case of CazinoStars, we found:

  • Licensing: No verifiable licence → triggers our automatic 0 / 10,000 rule.
  • Payments: Very slow, heavily capped withdrawals with large fees → near-zero score.
  • Bonuses: Extreme wagering and conversion traps → high-risk, low-value scoring.
  • Reviews: Trustpilot profile inconsistent with terms → treated as unreliable.

Even before we consider games and software quality, the licensing violation alone is enough to place CazinoStars firmly in the “Avoid / High Risk” band and onto our Blacklisted list.

What to Do If You Have an Account With CazinoStars

If you have already played at CazinoStars, we recommend the following steps:

  • Save all evidence: keep copies of chat logs, emails, transaction history and screenshots of the Terms.
  • Monitor withdrawals: if your payout is delayed beyond stated timeframes, keep a record of dates and responses.
  • Contact your payment provider if you believe you’ve been treated unfairly or charged unexpected fees.
  • Avoid further deposits while any complaint or withdrawal is unresolved.

You’re also welcome to contact our team if you have additional evidence or concerns. While we can’t intervene directly, we do track patterns across operators and use that information to refine our ratings and warnings.

Affiliate Partner or Not, We Remove Unsafe Casinos

Our editorial team and rating system are completely independent from commercial deals. If a partner fails our checks, we remove them — even if it costs us revenue.

In the case of CazinoStars, our decision was straightforward:

  • They could not provide a verifiable licence.
  • Their own Terms reveal unfair limits and excessive fees.
  • The Trustpilot profile appears misaligned with reality.

As a result, CazinoStars has been:

  • Removed from all TopCasinoScout rankings and lists.
  • Excluded from our AI Bonus Finder and comparison tools.
  • Added to our Blacklisted & Unsafe Casinos page with a TCS score of 0 / 10,000.

Play Safe: Licensing Is Only One Part of Protection

Even at licensed casinos, gambling should always stay firmly in the entertainment category.

If you ever feel pressured by bonus terms, tempted to chase losses, or unsure whether an offer is fair, step back and reassess. Our goal is to highlight safer options, but the final decision – and budget – is always yours.
